The Bonny Swans
One-of-a-kind, artisan, art glass, textile and turquoise spike earrings.
"The miller's daughter, dressed in red. A hey ho and me bonny o. She went for some water to make her bread..."
For some reason these reminded me of the line from my favorite old folk song The Bonny Swans. You know, the one where one sister pushes the other into the river for the love of a man? There's drowning and swimming and sinking and woe-ing, and ultimately justice is served.
It's a super cheerful little ditty.
These earrings are way more cheerful, actually.
Earthy ceramic spikes, Tibetan turquoise, batik art glass beads from Julie Miller, reclaimed sari silk ribbon, Czech glass and oxidized sterling and copper.
